What a fabulous day celebrating Stephanie’s birthday and the finest local chefs at Autumn Harvest in Athens! The crisp coolness of fall became a combination of Athens best chefs and food. Our indulgence was blended with a balance that the feast was a benefit for Wholesome Wave. This organization is focused on making healthy good food accessible to everyone. The beautiful antique-filled eighteenth century house connected us to our roots. Some of my favorite foods that I tasted were the bourbon cheese by Mimi Maumus, pumpkin with mole sauce and feta by Heirloom, basil chocolate cake by Shae Rehmel, and the kale radish salad by The National. The flavors were fresh and innovative.
